so strange

my dad walks in the room.

him: why are you wearing that thing on your head? (its a headband)
me: because i want to.

then he got all mad all of a sudden. but i did not mean it in a mean way at all. i simply stated why i was wearing it. but it made him so mad and i felt really bad afterwards. but then i remembered that i didnt do anything wrong and that i shouldnt feel bad. and i didnt say is in a rude way, im tired and said it in a monotone way. so i am not sure why i got into trouble. but it made me think, why should i get in trouble for simply saying exactly what is true?

and i still cannot think of an answer.
it makes me feel like vommiting.
